Delivery is 8-12 Weeks from Deposit
A 4-post hydraulic press typically uses a top sliding block to evenly distribute pressure on the workpiece. If the top sliding block is not available, you can still use the press, but it may require some extra steps to ensure proper and safe operation. Here is how:
Secure the workpiece: Attach the workpiece to the bottom plate of the press, making sure it is centered and securely fastened.
Fill the hydraulic system: Check the oil level in the hydraulic system and add oil if necessary.
Turn on the power: Turn on the power to the hydraulic pump to start the flow of oil.
Adjust the pressure: Use the pressure gauge and control valve to adjust the pressure applied to the workpiece. Start with a low pressure and gradually increase it as needed.
Monitor the workpiece: Observe the workpiece closely for any signs of excessive bending, cracking, or other damage. Stop the press immediately if you notice any issues.
Release the pressure: Once the work is complete, release the pressure by turning off the power to the hydraulic pump and allowing the oil to return to the reservoir.
Remove the workpiece: Carefully remove the workpiece from the bottom plate of the press.
Note: Operating a hydraulic press without a top sliding block can be dangerous and can result in uneven pressure on the workpiece, leading to damage or failure. It is recommended to only use a 4-post hydraulic press with a top sliding block for the safest and most effective operation.
